Fransisco Arredondo: What About Urban Floorplans and Flex Spaces?

Fransisco Arredondo, Principal at North Arrow Studio, focuses on the "architecture experience” - from the design process which must be “fun, enjoyable and the best that it can be” to the final deliverable which is not a house but a home that is truly personal for both the owner and all who enter. His determined way of thinking about each client project is less about trends and more about individual style, meaning that his eye remains fixed on the fact that clients, their budgets and lifestyle are unique. His ability to simplify considerations for his clients is eloquent!

On trends: Mid-century architecture has been strong for a while… some elements haven’t made it to the design language of today with brass elements that bring warm design tones with earthy metal details.

I loved what Fransisco has to say about the urbanizing of today’s garage as a “flex” space that caters to our lifestyle, thus declaring that it is not “just a place to park your car”. For more on building trends and innovations as well as what’s hot and what’s not listen in...

Fransisco Arredondo is a partner at North Arrow Studio. He was born in Texas (a rare thing!), attended the University of Texas School of Architecture and has remained a loyal citizen since.

That said, he has a worldly view that allows him to shine his creative artistry which yields masterful modern homes. His energy is infectious.
